IT'S A GIRL!

09/11/2005 10:13pm

4.102kg 52cm

Elizabeth our beautiful baby girl was born with a serious heart abnormality, on the 11th of November 2005,

she went into surgery for an emergency first operation to correct the great arteries with pulmonary atresia, and now she is in a

stable condition in intensive care at the Royal Children's Hospital. At first it was very hard for my wife and I, but seeing our

beautiful baby everyday with excellent care, fills us with joy.

I thank all the staff at St George Public Hospital (Maternity Unit, Delivery Suite and the Special Care Unit), as well as all the staff

at The Sydney Children's Hospital  Randwick - Intensive Care Unit (CICU), Royal Women's Hospital at Randwick for transferring

my wife across so she can be closer to our daughter Elizabeth and last but not least our family and friends for all their support.

My wife and I love you Elizabeth with all our heart.

I will later explain in detail what has been happening, for I have been staying at Royal Women's Hospital with my

wife since10/11/05 and have just come home to rest 12/11/05 at 10:30pm.
