Today is a very special day, It is Fathers Day as well as our 1st Year Anniversary.  We all gathered to have breaky with Papou George and  Yiayia Anna as we exchanged gifts.  Elizabeth bought daddy a DVD some chocolates and a key ring that says “I love my daddy” which Elizabeth purchased to support the Deaf Society.  Leslie and I decided on the spare of the moment to spend our special day with Elizabeth at Featherdale Wildlife Park.  We set off on our travels and the day was sunny and beautiful.  As you will see from the video footage that Leslie took, Elizabeth had such a great time meeting the animals for the first time.  Elizabeth even sat next to a Kangaroo that loved being scratched on the head.  Elizabeth even got to watch daddy feeding the Kangaroo’s and was so excited.  We decided to have a lunch then went to see the wombats and by the time we got to the Animal Nursery, Elizabeth was fast asleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz  She was so cute I had to take photos, I couldnt resist.  She then woke up just in time to see the Huge Crocodile who was basking in the sunshine and enjoying the attention from all the crowd.  We then left Featherdale and decided to visit our friends, Jodie, Angelo and baby Sophia.  Elizabeth had a great time playing with Sophia but was a little starled when Sophia got excited and was babbling loudly.  Oh boy then Elizabeth began to cry but by the end of our visit they were both sitting playing happily together and Elizabeth didnt want to leave :)  We will have to visit our lovely friends again soon.
